Sound Talking at Science Museum

On 3 Nov 2017, at the Sound Talking event held in the London Science Museum, Mariana gave a talk titled The language of Sound - Creating Accessible Film Experiences For Visually Impaired Audiences.



Sound Talking was a one-day event at the London Science Museum that sought to explore the complex relationships between language and sound, both historically and in the present day. It aimed to identify the perspectives and methodologies of current research in the ever-widening field of sound studies, and to locate productive interactions between disciplines.
